Our Story
My name is Wyatt and my wife is Joy. We have four children. Our oldest daughter is married and so is our oldest son. Our two youngest children attend Bethel College. We also have a ten month old grand daughter that is the cutest little girl you ever saw (grandpa bias).

We spent the first eleven years of our marriage working with youth and directing music in various churches. The next 13 years we were in the senior pastorate in Eugene, Oregon and Elkhart, Indiana. The last 8 years prior to coming to Lakeville we were church planters in Springdale, Arkansas.

Joy grew up in Stockton, California and I grew up near Brainerd, Minnesota. We met at Vennard College located in University Park, Iowa just outside of Oskaloosa. I finished a four year degree and Joy went two years before we were married. I am presently finishing a Master’s Degree at Bethel College.

Joy is an accomplished piano player and leads our music at the church. We have been in music all of our lives and love many styles and genres. Our four children keep us current with much of the new music both in the sacred and secular arenas.
